Is it worth updating???

I've come to the decision that my P5P800 board doesnt like my X800GTO agp card. Shall i update my board to resolve my fraphic glitches. See my previous posts for issues i got and what i've done to try to sort them.

See if you can't find an Agp AND Pcie motherboard that's compatible with your cpu. It would have both an AGP and PCIE slot for video cards. Your AGP vid card isn't bad at all and definitely has life left but when you want to upgrade, PCIE will be about your only option.

how have you come to that conclusion, what testing have you done, it could be a dead graphics card, replacving a graphics card is a lot easier than replcaing a mobo...
