is kaspersky slowing the computer?

hi to everyone
i have kaspersky anti virus on my computer. does it slowing it? i've heard it's just a small program who doesn't consume computer resources

Hi iused to run system mechanic 6 which i believe ran kaspersky,i also ran aol,s free antivirus which is also powered by kaspersky,they both worked well but did slow the computer down.happy days alex

I find that Kaspersky is blocking a lot of internet sites that I want to go to from opening.....Also the Spam program in Kaspersky Internet Security let's a lot go through.

Zone Alarm slowed up my new machines and Norton and MacAfee stopped them.....

I know there has to be a good program out there but I am starting to think that you need 1 program for AV, another for Spam, a third for Spyware etc.etc
