is laptop agp the same as desktop agp?

my sister's laptop came with an ATI graphics card, chip type: RS200M AGP (0x4337). is the graphics card removable and is that the same kind of agp port that older desktops have?

It's the same sort of technology, but slots and card layout will be completely different thus they won't be interchangeable.

I would say no, because very very little laptops out there allow you to change your graphics cards.
