-(still figuring out power supply)
-would like to have a combo drive to burn every cd dvd and bluray aswell as play them
-and whatever else is basic on pcs nowadays i still got some work to do but jw if i should put in the time liquid cooling or just stick with wind power?

Water cooling is best if your going to do insane overclocks.
Look into some good cpu fans like zalman.

Can I make a suggestion. Rather than spending all that money on a GTX 280, you could save yourself about $200.00 and get the 4870:

Although the GTX 280 is slightly better, it's not worth $200.00 more. If you do go with the 4870, make sure you find yourself a crossfire mobo:

Water cooling wouldn't hurt on a rig like that, but it's not completely necessary.

yeah i hear where your coming from on the graphics card ,, about the ati,,, hehe im kinda leaning towards wanting to use geforce,, could u reccomend the best geforce card i should use? to run games like fallout 3 and crysis

The GTX280 is the best GeForce card out there.

But to be honest, dont be single minded. If you want the best performance for your buck, get the ATI.

The ATI is better cause of these reasons:

* Less power draw (smaller PSU needed)
* You will have and Intel Chipset motherboard
* For $100 more than the GTX280, you can by another ATI and crossfire
* They perform on the same level, (GTX does get a few frames more, but not noo much 1 - 10, but at rates higher than 60 (except crysis) this is no biggie)

the ATI is clearly the better choice when money is on a leash

But if money is no object, then get the GTX280 (but, quite frankly, being $200 more does not justify the fact that it has such a small increase in performance.)

Basically The ATI is $290.
x2 = $580

the GTX280 = $450

so $130 more can get you 2 ATI's that will get you better performance in games. Even 1 is good enough, and you save yourself $200...

and no, liquid cooling is not nesecary.

Get a good zalman cooler, or of you have intake fans on the side, get the Thermaltake Maxorb, as the intake fan will blow DIRECTLY onto the cooler.

My friend used water cooling before and he got problem with the water leak.. i would suggest do not use water cooling, it might happen to you too..
