Is my computer connected somewhere?

Alright I'm on Windows 7 an I've got the Network Meter gadget on my sidebar. And as of a few days ago, my IP has been showing some very odd number. It displays your internal IP, which is that 192.68.x.x right? Then your external IP which is provided by my service provider. The external is correct, but the internal is displaying 169.254.xxx.xxx that number - I loaded the gadget on my other computer real quick, and the internal IP shows the correct 192 number.

So, what's going on?

The 169.254.xxx.xxx address means you aren't connected to the network, it's a private ip address. You can't be online if you are receiving that address.

if its showing 169.254.xxx then it means it is not connected to lan/internet. but, if its also no problem if ur able to browse. its only pc-router/modem connection.
try this option right click on ur network connection and try to diagnose/repair. it will solve the problem. may be its taking same ip with other device.
