is my memory runing on dual channel

i have four memory slots

memory channel A slot 0
memory channel A slot 1

memory channel B slot 0
memory channel B slot 1

i have 512MB ram on memory channel A slot 0, and i have another 512mb ram on channel B slot0.
is my memory running on dual channel ?

memory channel A slot 0 512mb (DDR400)
memory channel A slot 1 not installed

memory channel B slot 0 512 mb (DDR400)
memory channel B slot 1 not installed

my mother board is intel 865PERL

it says on the bios that my memory speed is 400mhz not 200mhz, so is it running on dual channel ?

EDIT: and is there a program that can detect if my memory is runnig on dual chanel, because i want to make sure that iam running on dual channel 100%

CPU-z will tell you. google it and download it.

DDR400 runs at 400MHz effective, 2x200MHz.

Dual channel changes the width of the data channels, which are 64-bit, into 128-bit. It doesn't change the clock speeds.

EDIT:
I'm a bit fuzzy on the details of how Dual Channel really works. I made a picture of an explanation I once read.

Yes it is running dual channel. For dual channel to work on that board you need to have same sized DIMMs (which you do) in channal A and channel B in the same slot number (ie A0, B0 or A1, B1).

yes but i wasn't sure because it said that the memory speed is 200mhz, not 400mhz.
DDR400 runs at 200Mhz, and as others have said, the memory speed doesnt double. But it's easy to get that confused.
