is my mobo for the bin

I left my pc runing last night as i always do, any way i woke up this morning, turned on the moniter and it was stuck on the boot screen so i turned it off. i then went back to it to find nothing happens. All the fans start up and so on but there is nothing going to the screen and there are 2 or 3 beeps from the motherboard, I think. it is not the moniter or the graphics card because i have used other ones.
I tryed to run is with out the cd drives and floppy drive but that didn't make any difference.
i asked my dad if he would let me throw it out of my window and claim insurance, now he's lafin at me because i cant us it

I think we need to know the exact number and duration of the beeps to diagnose anything.

Check that all the components are in place, the ones that could become loose. Memory, GFX card, PCI slot cards if you have any, powercables etc.
