So I have a Gigabyte MA770T mobo. I bought a fan controller to control the fan speed of my Corsair H50 CPU cooler.
I had some issues while installing and, stupidly enough, got tired of turning the computer off everytime I made an adjustment. So I left it on when making some minor adjustments. When the computer was on, and the fan controller had power connected to it, the second end of the power connector of the fan controller (female part) somehow managed to touch a piece of metal on the case.
An uncomfortable small noise later, just like when a small light bulb dies, my computer dies and wont restart. So my question is whether my mobo or my PSU is dead. Would hate to buy a new of either, just to find out that the other is faulty.
Also, How do you control the fan speed of the friggin Corsair H50? I tried everything before it died and stupid thing refused to change from 1800 rpm.
Thanks
