Is my model support Ivy Bridge?

Recently, I've read an information from gigabyte.us which said that all new generation of motherboards will support Ivy Bridge Processor and PCIE 3.0 and they also give a list of motherboards which will have these very awesome technologies but I can't see my model (GA-H61M-S2PV rev 2.0) there. Would anyone tell me if my motherboard supports Ivy Bridge Processors? Thanks.

I believe that only the P67 and Z68 will support Ivy Bridge, you have the H61, and unfortunately, your MoBo will NOT support Ivy Bridge.

Im sorry, lets try this again. I believe your MoBo will not support it because you have the rev. 2.0 and I think it needs to be rev. 3.0 or above, which supports the updates needed to run Ivy Bridge. I could be wrong.

Its the same MoBo as you got, just with an updated BIOS. When a manufacturer makes a MoBo for the first time(rev. 1.0), they release new MoBo's of the same with just added features, like 3TB+ HDD support, or for example...can update to accommodate the new and upcoming Ivy Bridge CPU's.
