Is My Monitor Fixable?

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone on here had some insight towards my problem. I have a 17" LCD monitor that was shot by a BB gun (don't ask), as in the little plastic balls, not metal bb's, I believe they are called airguns or something like that. It was shot twice in the lower area of the monitor, and now the monitor has these two "holes" when you boot it up. I put holes in quotations because they're not really holes on the outside of the screen, but it looks kind of like a shattered bullet shot in glass. I'm going to take pictures of it tomorrow, but if there any hope it is fixable? Thanks for the responses. :)

does the monitor even display anything? and my first thought would be not unless you replace the LCD screen which I don't know if that can be done. My best advice is not to get in a fire fight near your computer:P:rolleyes:

good luck

Yea the screen boots up, but the whole lower right corner is just a bunch of messed up colors, you simply cannot work on it with the whole right hand corner missing. Yea, I guess the real question is if an LCD screen can be replaced. Pics will be up tomorrow for some visual understanding of my problem lol. thx for the response ^^^
