Is my motherboard compatible for GeForce 9800GT?

I'm thinking of upgrading my graphics card from a GeForce 7500LE to a GeForce 9800GT, just wondering if it'll work... or even fit before i buy it. and also if i need a bigger power supply or anything else.

If i need a bigger power supply unit, could you recomend any other GeForce that'll run just fine with the power supply i have now? for comparison

PC Specs:

Windows Vista Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (Build 6001)

Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 [email protected]

AC input: 100-127-220-240V-,6/3.15A,60/50Hz
DC Output: 250W (+3.3V & +5V=110W Max) (+12V1 & +12V2+180W Max)

Motherboard: Acer E946GZ or 946GZT-AM V.1.0 (has one PCI Express x16)

RAM: 1G at the moment, looking to upgrade to 2G

That looks like my motherboard... except mine has the pcie 1x slot on the other side of the x16 slot, so you can use a NIC and graphics card as well..
As long as your powersupply has the required wattage and amperage on the +12v rail, a 9800gt will run fine. But you need a 6p-pin PCI-E connector, it may come with an adapter with the card if its new. Your CPU and RAM will not bottleneck it with that system.
2gb is always recommended for vista.

Go on newegg and find some PSU's.

Things to look for:
500 or more watts
1 or 2 +12v rails only.
More than 18 amps on EACH +12v rail
Decent brands (Seasonic, OCZ, Antec, stuff like that)

Alternatively, you could use that PSU with a GeForce 9400GT or 9500GT no probs, but not sure about a 9600GT.
