Whenever I put a CD into my CD drive and play it, every time the light on the CD drive blinks as it loads the song, the lights on my flash drive flash at the same time. Is my PC using my flash drives as a memory buffer or something?

No.

For fun, ASSUMING you aren't copying files from the flash drive, try pulling it out during the music playing. I guarantee it won't stop the music.

Music didn't stop playing. Doesn't make sense that my flash drive blinks with my CD drive though. Hmm.

Based on my expert opinion you are suffering from Computosis Hypochondriasis, a condition where a person is abnormally anxious about their computer, or computers overall health.

a Somatic symptom disorder. Illness anxiety disorder, sometimes called computer hypochondria or computer health anxiety, is worrying excessively that your computer or individual computer parts may become seriously ill.

You know... I'm not even surprised anymore if that's actually a thing.

People are claiming they are suffering from PTSD because of twitter.

Do you have ReadyBoost enabled?
Yes I just checked and I disabled it, and now the weird issue with CDs no longer occurs. Really odd it would be using my flash drive as RAM, considering I had over 12GB free of actual RAM, but whatever.
