is my psu dead?

i had been getting warnings that the +3.3v was too low i guess? this was being reported by MSI CoreCenter...then the comp froze two different times and the last time it froze it just straight up died...

now when i plug it in all the lights and fans spin up and my HDD LED lights up, but the Power LED does not...and after it died the Power LED would blink slowly...

im thinking that my PSU is dead, its the one in the sig, any thoughts?
 
I'd say pick up a new one and try it out, if it doesn't work you can always return it and try and troubleshoot further.
 
well i had an el cheapo 450w that came with my case that i was going to try, so i had the side off the case, and i removed the 20pin plug from the PS off of the 20pin side of my 20 to 24 adapter, upon doing so, the adapter fell off the mobo:)...i thought to myself "hmm"....so i plugged the adapter back in SECURELY, and did the same to the power supply.....works fine :) and now my 3.3v setting are stable at 3.31-32....so i guess it was unplugged slightly all along and then this morning it rode with me in the car for a bit...i took it up to school to show it off and download some stuff....it doesnt give you many props when youre playing CS(they have fun at summer school) and your PC dies....i check everything but that connection...so now i feel dumb

thanks for making me feel dumb guys!:) and now im off to run 3dmark2005....scores later today..
