Is my PSU Enough?

I need a 24-pin motherboard connector and there are no Corsair CX that I can find on tigerdirect.com that has a 24-pin connector that is the wattage I need or in my price range. It's the same maker (CWT) as the CX series so I guess it doesn't matter which one.

The cx500 does have a 24pin motherboard connector. All new power supplies will have 24 pin connector.

All modern power supplies will have a 24 pin power connector.

All the Corsair ones have a 20+4 pin connecter, giving full support for 24 pin connections, as well as old 20 pin connections. This goes for 99% of all new PSUs, not only from Corsair.

550w is headroom for upgrade.

The oem your using was built to last the warranty period(as cheap as possible)>1yr. It's been 3.
Change it asap.
