Is the e6600 worth the extra 100$

Hey everyone, I was just wondering, is the e6600 really that much better than the e6400, becuase I'm planning on getting one of those, and I want to know if it is really worth the extra 100$??

well for gaming, i honestly think that the 4mb l2 is not needed. Just get whatever suites your budget best. the 2mb extra cache is honestly useless atm for gaming, i dont care what any1 else says, look at benchmarks. it may be needed in the future. but not worth 100$

I think $100 is deffinetly worth upgrading to the E6600.
