Is the OZC GaemXtreme a good PSU?

Well... since my PSU is running extremely hot,.. ( its just 24Amp on the +12V line.. so it doesnt really supprise me) and im Working on cooling my entire pc down a bit,. it doesnt leave me much coice to replace the PSU.

Ive seen the OZC gameXtreme ( 600W ) PSU
http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/power_management/ocz_nvidia_sli_ready_gamexstream_power_supply
ive been looking on their site, and they say (ofcourse) its a supreme PSU.
i cant make out from that site tough if its the 600W version or the 700W version who has the 4x 12V rails, with 18A on each rail.

anyhway,.. would this PSU be a good choice for the pc i currently have?
(it has 4 Case Fan's now too, 2x 80mm and 2x 120mm )
and when i get the 2 NVsilencers, im trying to overclock the 7800GTX's to 450 - 1300, or something like that.

also, I want to keep this PSU for possible future systems of mine,.. would it be ok for that?

Both units feature 4 +12V rails @ 18A each. The difference is in the total maximum output, 580W on the +12Vs for the 600W model, 680W for the 700W model.

Yes it would be a great choice, and should have no problems holding up to that load.

That would depend on what will be in the future system. G80 SLI may not be a good idea (nVidia's recommendation is a staggering 800W), although until they are released there's no way to know for sure what they'll run on.

Well... thanks :) wich one would be better the 600W or the 700W one?
( for the system i currently have ) like you said.. maybe not perfoct for 2 G80's in SLI... but then... if i find the spare money for 2 of those... surely ill have the money to spend for a different PSU too :)

(and i just realized my REALLY bad typo's in the post... sorry about that.. its the OZC gameXtream 600W :o )

No problems, I knew the one you were talking about. BTW, it's OCZ not OZC.

The 600W model will be more than sufficient for your system, although the 700W model will give you a little more leeway in upgrading, should you ever need the extra power. It really depends on how much you want to spend.

i really shouldnt post when i didnt sleep for 2 days.. :|

edit, what makes me wonder tough..

if both models have 4x 12V @18A,.. how can the total maximum power on the +12V rail differ between the 600 and 700W one? ( sorry if its a stupid question... but i dont quite get it :( )

im still thinking between the 600 and 700W version.. i think ill go for the 600W tough... i dont really have the need for the bigger one atm anyway

Each individual 12V rail could have 18A on it if the rest wasn't loaded in both PSUs, but the maximum total load for all of the rails is higher for the 700w model than the 600w one.

How much are you planning on spending on a power supply? I don't know if you have looked at PC Power & Cooling PSUs, and everyone here is probably getting tired of me recommending them :)
