Is the Radeon HD 5850 still good?

Hey guys, I've just been given a Radeon HD 5850 by my brother as he has upgraded and I wanted to know if it is still a good graphics card for gaming, or if I'm better investing in a new one.

The games I am looking to play are Batman Arkham Asylum/City, AC series, maybe some borderlands/B2 too if possible, Need for Speed, Crysis etc
 
Yeah it's OK. I'm still using a 5870 and playing games maxxed out at 1080p still. It depends which resolution you're using as to how good the card is and which games it can play with decent FPS, and of course what you're upgrading from.
 
Batman is a pretty demanding game.. And borderlands 2 gets a massive fps drop when u turn around really fast because ur system has to load the map... And being realistic bld2 has a massive detailed map... Is ur mobo cappable of sli?
Depending on ur psu and ur cpu?
 
It's pretty good. I wouldn't upgrade if I were you unless you really feel the need for it. If you have it, might as well try it. If you want more. Sell it and buy a new one!
