-[2X] OCZ SLI-Ready Edition Dual Channel 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz Memory (2 x 1024MB)

But i heard this about it...
The OCZ SLI-Ready Edition Dual Channel 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz Memory is a gimmick and a rip off.
I cannot compare prices on the site you linked to because its no longer available there but Im sure you can find memory that is just as fast for cheaper.

Is this true??
Also is all ram SLI-ready?

No specific memory is "SLI ready"! SLI is simply syncing two video cards to work together as one for the most part. The SLI ready is simply a "selling point" to move that brand's memory. OCZ however is a premium brand to consider other then buying into the advertising gimic seen there.

SLI stands for scalable link interface as I'm sure you know, So there's nothing stopping Nvidia from using it as a substitute for "dual-channel" and having it be completely justified. I think it's quite reprehensible though, they are doing nothing but confusing the consumer.
