is the "unvanquished server" suspicious or malicious?

hi all.
this is for computers everywhere.

is the "unvanquished server" suspicious or malicious?

i am rather new to the whole network administrator feild.
i mean i know alot about computers, but not much of anything about networking, and i am still trying to peice together the security subject.

if there is anybody out there that can help answer this question -- that'd be great.

sorry for misspelling your name johnb35.
can i call you john, or should i call you johnb35 instead?

This software most likely came from a program or game that you installed and it was included as an addition to it. What games do you have installed?

You have to realize in today's computer world that there is a lot of software that comes bundled with the main program. The problem being is that most of it is actually harmful to your system such as PC optimizer, any registry cleaners besides Ccleaner.

johnb35, i can fix it myself. johnb35, i don't need help fixing it.

And as far as that statement goes, the amount of threads you have created in the last 2 months have proven otherwise.

someday i will understand computers;)

but as to the networking feild,
is a individual ABLE to create their own server?
can a person create their own browser?
can an individual create (not sign up for someone else's already made one) their own private irc client?

thank you for answering my questions:good:

Yes, I have a couple of servers (real servers) here but they are not open to the public
Yes, but they have to be very smart
Yes

hi MyCattMaxx,

so its yes on a person being able to create their own server.:)

but no on being able to create their own browser?

and no on being able to create their own IRC Client (and not sign up for someone else's already created one)?

or you don't know about the other two things?

thanks,

I answered all 3 of your questions in the order you asked them.
You must be new to forums if you didn't pick that up.
Also you don't need to color code your lines, we get it that you know how to do that.

hi MyCattMaxx,

sorry, my bad.
i just double checked.
it was just a little confusing or ambiguous, as in yes, they can create a server, but only if, and yes, they are smart.
so my answer about creating a server is yes.

yes, yes, yes they can create a server, but only if they are really smart;)

thx MyCattMaxx,
that's what i suspected:mad:

i don't know much about computers,
but hey, guess what -- i know how to color code:good:

I suspect that you are trolling but I will spell this out so even you can get it:

is a individual ABLE to create their own server?
Yes, just about any computer can be made into a server.

can a person create their own browser?

Yes, but they have to be very smart

can an individual create (not sign up for someone else's already made one) their own private irc client?
Yes

Kirk, please stop with the color text. Seriously. I'll start deleting your posts if you continue.
