Is there a big difference between Core 2 Duo 2.13 and 2.4?

I'm just asking because I am about to buy/build a new comp...

is there a real difference? I very badly want to get the 2.4 over the 2.13, because i'm a man and my testosterone tells me to get the better faster thing... but it is $100 extra... is it worth it?

In all benchmarks, the 2.4 was the cheapest model to out perform the FX-62. So in my opinion, its the best chip for price/performance.

Get the E6600, it has 4 megs of L2 cache instead of 2 megs of the E6400

I would go with the E6600 as well.
