Is there a device for adding more USB ports?

Is there a device for adding more USB ports? Like a sort of USB multi-tap where you plug it into the USB port and it strings off to a device that has several USB ports in it? My laptop has only 1 USB port so I need more. Any enlightenment would be great. Thanks!

You can buy a PCMCIA usb slot where it'll offer you more USB ports. (assuming ur laptop has pcmcia slots)

yes there is such a device but i dont know were you live i believe belkin make it
