Is there a difference between ethernet cables?

Like USB 2.0 vs 3.0 and the HDMI 2.0 vs 3.0, is there a grading system like that for ethernet cables? Or can I use the same one from 10 years ago?

Unless your whole house was wired with Cat6 ethernet there won't be any difference between using Cat5 or Cat6. Or If your internet speed isn't above 100mb then it won't matter.

OH ok. no this will be the only computer that is wired, everything else is wireless.
