or, if u are running windows, you can use system restore
either
there is a partition on your hard drive that has the restore files
or
there are cd's that came with windows/your computer that have the restore files on them

Your just copying talormsj...

The last and 2nd to last ones are REFORMATS... And I'm pretty sure he wants his files..

haha sorry
well i meant
make a backup
then reformat
but
if he wants to keep windows
he needs to reformat w/ the provided windows software

some people i have talked to who have had similar problems did not create any system restore points
because he/she is not participating in the conversation it is hard to tell what their situation is

try a system restore if that doesnt work turn system restore off boot into safe mode and do a complete scan with every program you have when finished boot into windows and turn system restore back on hopefully that will do it .

Alternatively, if you would prefer to try to remove the malware on the system, you can post a HijackThis log:

Please download the HijackThis installer from http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/threat_analytics/HJTInstall.exe.

Run the installer and choose Install, indicating that you accept the licence agreement. The installer will place a shortcut on your desktop and launch HijackThis.

Click Do a system scan and save a logfile

When the Notepad window opens choose Edit -> Select All to select the entire log, and copy and paste the log into a reply post.
Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.
