Is there a good program to slow down .mp3's?

I want to play a song at 3/4 speed. Is there a good program that can do this?

If necessary, I can convert it to another format.

Does anyone know of any good program for this?

That's because you have to pay for Adobe Audition... ;)

Audacity is the best free one. As the internet will tell you if you search for 'best free audio editor'. :)
 
I'm trying to download Audacity... and it says "download failed."

This happens to me sometimes, then when I keep trying, it will work.

I've tried 3 times now... maybe it will work after the 10th....

But why does it happen in the first place? Why doesn't it work in the first place?

Based on some of your other threads it sounds like your system(s) have serious issues not related to the Audacity site.

I agree. That's why I have everything backed up on removable storage.

But, it should hold up for a little while longer. At least enough to slow down an .mp3.
