Is there a way to connect my Wii to my CRT moniter?

I know I could play my Wii on TV but I was just curious if I could also play it on my computer moniter because I wanted to use my speakers.

Just realize the quality would be pretty sorry with a capture card. It won't look as nice as it does on your TV. It wouldn't be hard to just connect it to your speakers, if that's an option. I'm sure Radio Shack carries some sort of RCA to 3.5mm converter.

You can wait until nintendo or a 3rd party makes a vga cable for the wii. Nintendo did say the wii will be able to connect to monitors via vga, but I believe they retracted that comment and info.

Other than that, if you have the component cables, you can buy a component to vga adapter. Not sure if there is any for composite.

If you just wanted to use the monitor without the pc, then a capture card might not work. But if you do, may I recommend the GameBridge; it's by far the best I've tried so far and for a mere 20 bucks (now 13 bucks over at outpost.com), no delay. Allows you take take screenshots, videos, watch tv, record tv, etc..
