Is there a way to run dual external monitors on a laptop

I have a Toshiba L55 with i7 processor. I can hook up ONE external monitor.

Is there a way to hook up dual monitors?

Depends on the laptop, usually a dock will give you extra interfaces too

I use a Dell 6440 at work and use two monitors plus the integrated one while docked.

I don't have a docking station. Neither do I intend to invest in one. Years ago, when I was spending company money, I had docking station for every laptop I owned. But it just got trashed when I upgraded my computer.

Would something like this let me open more apps, like Photoshop on one screen and Excel on the other?
