Is there a way of capturing a screen shot from Windows Media Player. When I press 'Print Screen' when I want to capture a shot from WMP, I go to paint and press CTRL + V (paste) and the screen comes up. But when I press play on WMP it's playing on paint as well.

I think you are confused somewhere.. Paint does not play files. It will display still images, but it wont play a video...

no trizoy, i think he wants a static screenshot of a video playing in WMP (just a still picture), i tried this too but it won't work, when you paste the screenshot in paint or cs3, it's blank, i think printscreen cannot take snap videos,

it's not playing in paint, you actually see it in paint, but the render is coming from WMP

Something like Media Player Classic would work. It has a screen-shot option.

Its because windows media player acts as a green screen. Except it uses black. When you print screen you are capturing the same black that WMP uses and so it projects the movie onto that as well. There is an option in WMP to make it play the movie straight out without this nonsense and you will be able to take a screenshot, but its less efficient (or something like that). Play around in your options. Or just take the easy rout as TOO said, use classic.
