Is there any different on dedicated card compare to the integrated card?

Hi guys,
Is there any different in speed and performance between the dedicated video card with dedicated video memory compare to the integrated video card and shared memory, if the video processor is the same model? If is, can you tell why?
Thank you in advance.

first off, you will never see a integrated card and a dedicated card of the same model. They generally make the integrated cards several generations back (like HD4200 and Grforce 6600).
A dedicated card with dedicated memory (not turbo cache) will out perform the closest integrated model. This is because of the design, speed, and tech that goes into them. A HD4200 for example, only has 40 shaders @ 500MHz, when the dedicated HD4350 is 80 @ 600. Because of the number of shaders, the dedicated will run circles around the integrated.
