Sorry to get all technical on ya ... its 800/1000 (1600/2000 for DDR-effect) ... even then, most people wont notice a 200MHz HT and a 1000MHz HT ... really.the mobile amd athlon 64 is socket 754. the hypertransport bandwidth is only 1600 compared to 2000 mhz
Not all 3400+ mobiles have reduced voltage. DTR models dont for instanceim pretty sure if you have a 3400+ mobile clawhammer @ 2.2 and a 3400+ clawhammer @ 2.2 i dont think theres a diffrence, except the mobile overclocks better and runs cooler due to less voltage requirements..

yeah but they have a lower maximum vcore as wellZhuge Liang said:Same goes for Mobile Athlon XP's.
Lower starting voltage will give you more room to work with. If you have a S754 board you can get a Mobile Athlon 64.

The difference however is that you need to OC more to match the desktop chip since the core is running 133 instead of 166/200Same goes for Mobile Athlon XP's.
Which chips are you talking about? 'sides if you're wanting to pump more than 0.5v above stock, you shoulda bought a different chip hehyeah but they have a lower maximum vcore as well
i was under the impression (and still are) that the mobile amd64's ran at a lower max vcore before quote "exhibiting damage" end-quoteWhich chips are you talking about?
no argument there'sides if you're wanting to pump more than 0.5v above stock, you shoulda bought a different chip heh
