Is there anyway to use two power supplys on a computer?

yeah there's ways to do it, but most likely you'll have like one for the mobo/cpu and another for all the peripherals, what exactly are you planning on doing?

I see to problems:

1)Heat
2) Space

Im assuming you only want the second powersupply for your drives ect and not for your mobo.

I would imagine if you can overcome the heat problem and you dont mind running a powercord into your box then it should be fairly straight forward.

Why not just but a bigger powersupply there not expensive?

I want more amps and I had an old one with 21a on 12v and the one i got now is 24a so i will have the old one running lil stuff and the good one the board!

Heat is less of an issue than space, you'd seriously have to modify a conventional case to house two power supplies whilst allowing sufficient room for remaining hardware.

The other tricky bit would be linking the 2nd psu to the power button on the case. You can mod a psu to run independently of the motherboard, but I feel it would take some serious work to hook it up to switch both on and off with the case power button.

IMO if you're not happy with the more powerful of the two, sell them both and buy a single higher-spec model.
