Is there room to upgrade in here?

Im getting ready to part ways with my gaming PC :( and settle for something more simple. I think I've found the one, but as skeptical as i am to be getting rid of my good rig to settle for less, i could use some advice on weather or not a standard rig like this could maybe upgrade its way to a coveted device in the future. Criticism is welcome, but advice would be better. Thanks. - Daveybutter

P.S. I've never owned a rig with the PS on top, is that a bad indication for anything? Seems odd to me.

You could probably build one depending on your goals.

Why are you getting rid of your gaming PC? It can easily do whatever other productivity tasks you had in mind.

PSU placement is kind of irrelevant. For the longest time they were always in the top of the unit. Moving to the bottom is a fairly recent (last ~5 years maybe) trend.

mainly money issues. i barely game on it anymore, and i know with the rig i have, along with a few other components, i can make some coin. i guess upgrade wise, i would just look into maybe a new PS and vid card.

Do you think you will actually come out ahead financially by selling your present computer, then buying a lesser unit and then upgrading it?

Seems to me you would be better off just sticking with your existing computer.

yea i guess that would make sense, but my upgrades probably wouldn't be for a while, if at all haha, just like the idea of taking a cheap rig and making it a dope one.

Why don't you just build one instead?
