is there any such a program out there that tells you what hardware you have on ur system ??

Goto your start menu --> run --> type in dxdiag.

Hopefully that will help.

That only tells you about the CPU, Motherboard, and RAM. Not the sound card, video card, ect.

Device manager also tells you what hardware you have.
