Is there such a thing as a Text Condenser and summarizer?

Greetings.

Me and a friend write movie reviews for our entertainment website. Does any kind of free software exist where one can copy and paste the text of a full movie review into it -

And have it generate a one paragraph summary of the entire move review?

We want to be able to link a small paragraph that summarizes the whole movie to another site to cross reference both and hopefully bring in more traffic on both sites.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

How would it know what information is important?

Easiest way to do it is manually. :P

This, really.

You could write an application to take out sample sentences, but you wouldn't have coherent thoughts with your resulting data.
 
What your asking for is short of AI consciousness. The program would have to know what text you think is valuable to condense it.
