Is this a computer worm?

Would you please help me with this?
I got an email from a guy a there was this attachment:

http://ca.mc576.mail.yahoo.com/mc/compose?to=

there was his email address after =

I opened the attachment but nothing showed up. Could that be some kind of worm that would allowed him to read my emails?

We can't see your emails. The only thing you can do is make sure you have an active virus program installed on your system and run a full scan along with using a malware program such as Malwarebytes and scan your system.
 
Scan your computer inside of the SAFE MODE using the McAfee VirusScan Enterprise+AntiSpyware Enterprise...
In short use the antivirus called McAfee 8.5.0...
