Is this a good deal?

I saw on the Staples Flyer that they are selling Viewsonic VE910B 19" LCD at
$359.95 x 1.15% tax = $414 Canadian. Is that a good deal? Is the monitor
good for watching movies?
 
any flatscreen is good for watching movies, but what is the response time on it? thats a major factor. also, when and if you get it, look for bad pixels imediatly, sometimes it happenes, i have one in the very very low left of my lcd. a CRT will always perform better, so if you have the deskspace (this goes for anyone) and you need a flatscreen, dont go with a panel, go with a CRT flat. they perform the best. oh the deal? ya that sounds about right, canadians get screwed sometimes, but what the hell right?
 
Most lcd's for watching movies have a response time of 25ms. The main factors for TV (not gaming) is contrast and color. Dont go looking for a 4ms response time monitor if your only gonna be watching movies. If you want to game and watch movies, you will have to comprimise between the two because they dont have 20 inch, 4ms, 1000:1 contrats ratio moniters... lol it would be cool if they did though.
 
Oh and wait for someone more experianced than me to answer before you go out and buy what I sugested you to,
