Is this good value for money or do i need to spend a little bit more for a high quality DVD Writer?

ought to be fine, I'd suggest something off newegg if you weren't in the UK though, would be a little cheaper

ya that looks like a good drive. how come you dont get lite-on theyre cheaper and i heard they are pretty good.
