Is this a good motherboard? :

this is going to be my first amd system so i also need to know if it will work with a phenom ii x4 925.

my current motherboard broke and i only have $210 to change it. I also decided to upgrade my crappy p4:D. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

ps. dont plan on overclocking much cause good things never really happen when i try lol.
 
Looks like a good buy, what do you use the machine for? Also I am still newish to this stuff but I dont see why your planned cpu wouldnt work with the board.

Yes it supports it but its a piece of junk. Are you going to be using your DDR2 and how much are you wanting to spend?

i was actually hopeing to get a quad core because i do some video stuff and also i know if i buy a dual core today, sometime next year ill have to get a quad.

Why is this motherboard junk? I will be using the same stuff in my sig (- the motherboard and p4). My buget is $210. i was planning on investing on a q9400-9550 but then my motherboard broke.

Cheap PCB, Still has a bunch of old liquid filled caps. Still has some old style chokes, only has either a 3 or 4 phase power setup, cant really tell by the way its setup.

Are you wanting one with onboard video?
These still has some liquid filled caps, but the overall quality of the boards is way better then the ECS.

thanks stanglehold. I don't need onboard video. those last two look nice. which one is better. im guessing its the last one cause its more expensive :D.
