Is This a Good Tablet?

Is it "good"? No, but it would work as a basic tablet with access to the Play Store. Personally, I would get a Fire 7 tablet and throw a custom ROM on it, as there is a good amount of development for it.

Hey hey Hey! that sounds like a good idea! i think maybe i will get the link above, and the fire, and install cyanogenmod on the fire, and COMPARE!

What do you expected for that price?
Not very much, but i really only need a cheap tablet for testing some apps, and playing basic games, and reading, and surfing. i dont need it to do heavy multi tasking, or anything like that

You'd be better off buying a $100 tablet than two $50 tablets, personally.

You know? Your right!
Lol come on even those who know nothing about economics or how to spend money should be able to figure that one $100 tablet is better than two $50 ones.

Geoff's said to you before the Kindle with the custom ROM is the best option for $50. So why not just get one of those and flash it eh?

Because when you start messing with slashing roms and stuff, you could very easily brick your tablet.

Most bricks are soft bricks, meaning you can restore it to stock and try again. Now if you start deviating from guides and try flashing bootloaders from other tablets onto yours, sure you could hard brick it. You said yourself you want to get into development and learn more about Android, what better way than following step by step guides using ADB terminal commands, sideloading images, etc?

yeah, i guess i would learn something...

How do you expect to succeed in development if you can't 'slash' a simple rom?
*Flash* ur right.
