For the money i'd personally prefer the Corsair HX520W, OCZ GameXStream 600W, or Antec NeoHE550W (or 500W), but the Hiper is by no means a bad PSU and will have no problems powering your system.

yeah it has high review, and looks like a good PSU

I just bought the Corsair HX620W... and i love it ( It even has a Black powdercoating finish looks so damn sexy =) ) anyway,.. i oveclocked My grafic's etc, and ran 3dmark06.. measured the voltage with an asciloscope.. and the voltage didnt drop at all during the test, and the riple on the voltage wasnt bigger as 2mV.. wich is damn sweet
Im really glad ceewi1 suggested me the corsair one, I'm quite impressed with it. so if you can afford it, i'd go for it

Is it modular???

i really want a modular PSU just because it is easier to manage

very good that is an understatement. those are the only two PSU i have seen with a 100% rating on newegg


I'm thinking the HX520W with a P180B black or a Ultra Black Aluminus with the HX520W. what one do you think would be better the P180B or the Ultra Black Aluminus???

yeah hopefully the price of computer parts go down other wise i will have to settle with the Ultra Black Aluminus and the ultra 500 watt PSU

OP: nice power supply, but buy earplugs first unless you're deaf or like loud music. The NeoHE is a nice quiet choice. I personally like a quiet computer, so I would not get the Hiper based on my friends' experiences. Also, tradeoff with the case to get a better PSU. PSU ranks higher than case on the immportance scale. Get an Evercase 4292 or HEC LX-6A19 case. They are good cheap choices if you can get them without a power supply.

Edit: If you want a nice case+psu combo, check out the Antec Titan 550 even though it's designed for servers. Antec makes nice quality products.
