Hi guys, I just came across this ad on Craig's List, and wanted to know what you think

** Adobe CS3 Software (Master collection/design/web premium) unregistered

* *

**MASTER COLLECTION CS3, DESIGN PREMIUM CS3 AND WEB PREMIUM CS3 4 SALE...

EMAIL WITH QUESTIONS**

LOOKING TO SELL TODAY**

* * Buy for Pennies on the dollar!

What is the potential for this being a scam? he's asking about 1/3 of the full price for this software, I would reaaaaaaaaaaaaly like to buy it, but I don't want to get scammed out of $400. If he has already used the reg codes that came with it, would they not work for me? Is there some kind of licensing process where it comes with a certificate to prove that I own it so I could get a license from Adobe? Need advice from someone who know about software licensing/scams!

Thanks very much for looking!

I know that Adobe offers the software for free download on their site...how can I make sure I get a licensed copy and not a pirated copy?

ive done business with craigs list in the past. everything i did was and would be only. (i picked it up). other than that for something like cs3 would be a legit site as far as the internet. search for a reputable site only. or request pick up.

Here's the response he gave me, sounds kinda fishy. Sounds like he is selling me one of several bought in a corporate license.
Hi, Master collection is for PC, Web and design premium are for Mac. ll come with unregistered serial # tht you can register on up to 10 different computers each, because they are corporate versions bought for our business. Just install, add serial, and register to you! if your interested let me know, do you use paypal?
Full Version, unregistered, and can register on up to 10 different computers if you need or want to.

that would be sweet. how to find out i would not know.
i use a corp xp pro. ya have to figure it out.

one thing though. the corp would be for a business only i think.
not buy and give to anybody ya want. then again im guessing.
i would think its business related. If it is a corp it should work fine).
