Is this a sign that my mobo is dying?

A few weeks ago my computer had some problems and then stopped booting altogether. The problem was the ram timings or something and now it cannot be run in dual channel. It works fine when not in dual channel. Is this a sign that my mobo is dying or a possible BIOS problem?

i would think not. not sure what the correct answer would be. but it woulndt be dying i dont think... maybe one of your ram sticks might have gone bad. i had that problem.

so does each one work when its on its own? or will only one work?

They both work fine, just not in dual channel.
