Is this all i need?

We already have road runner high speed internet hooked up on two computers in my house, im in the process of building my own computer, all i will need is a cable modem and a ethernet cable run to the new computer from the router right? or am i missing anything?

you can run all three computers off one modem. Get a router(I think a hub will work instead of a router, hubs are a lot cheaper, but im not sure). Well, hook the router or hub up the the modem and then run ethernet cables to all three computers. As long as all three computers have an ethernet card you shuld be fine.

HUB will work fine, i have 3 of my own computers in my room one a single HUB connected to one line going back to our server. which then goes to it's own HUB and router, back to our actual ISP. It's pretty confusing at first...but once you get it all hooked up it makes perfect sense.
