I was feeling my laptop and it felt super hot so i checked the temps and here it is:

HD0: 48C (FIRE PIC)
Temp1: 75C (FIRE PIC)
Temp2: 76C (FIRE PIC)
Core 0: 90C (FIRE PIC)
Core 1: 90C (FIRE PIC)

YOUR CPU IS ON FIRE!

On a more series note. Download install PC Wizard and tell us what temps it is reading. I'm assuming these readings are from SpeedFan from teh format you've given them in. Also you might look in the bios to check temperature.

Are you laying it where it gets good air flow? Laying on things like beds or blanket will cover up air vents. Did it just start getting hot recently?

danm dude that cpu is crazzyy hot, surprised your system didn't crash yet.

A hd at 40c ? That's hot! Mines at 20C.

My laptop is on my desk with good airflow.

Hardware Monitoring :
Voltage CPU : 1.26 V
Processor Temperature (Core 1) : 74 °C
Processor Temperature (Core 2) : 76 °C
ACPI Thermal Zone : 74 °C
Hard Disk Monitoring : S.M.A.R.T

new Speedfan temps:

Core 0: 94C (FIRE PIC)
Core 1: 92C (FIRE PIC)

new Speedfan temps:

Core 0: 94C (FIRE PIC)
Core 1: 92C (FIRE PIC)

Those temps are not accurate Your CPU would have fried itself a few times over.

I'd stick with your Hardware Monitoring in BIOS. They seem super high, but more realistic.

Is your fan blowing? Can you hear it over the normal background laptop noise? Can you feel hot air being pushed from a vent?
