still have no clue with this, got to figure out how much power i need, any advice will be helpful!

thanks guys! this is my pretty much budget build, maxing around 700
any and all advice will be appreciated!

Yeah its all compatible but here some things i would suggest.

Now im assuming you mean US dollars?

Get 1600Mhz ram,Something like this...

as for Power supply,This would be more than enough for that system.

Do you have an Operating system already?
What do you intend to use the system for?

I have to go to work shortly,But if no one else puts up another alternative build list i will when i get back. :)

If you have no plans of overclocking the CPU, go for a phenom II from AMD. At stock, the phenom IIs beat the FX.

But if you get a good cooler, and overclock it to 4.5ghz or more, it'd be faster than a phenom II.

@Nevakonaza thanks for your ideas! those ripjaws seem good, why did you suggest low voltage? jw, and for the power supply, i hdid the claculator on cool master, told me i need a 360w! that's much too low, i couldn't even find it on newegg.

@claptonman i do indeed intend to overclock the baby at 3.8, i want to game, but don't have that much money, so that would be a fine choice, beating the 6870 :)

@byteninja2 thanks for links, will be checking out the the corsair

I recommend the coolermaster 212+ for cooling. Only $30. You'll be able to overclock that thing way past 3.8ghz.

And low voltage uses less power and more room for overclocking.

What about this build?...It comes over budget slightly in the cart at $711.93 but there are $40 in rebates to be had from that list.

Then when you can afford it,Shove on an aftermarket cpu cooler. :)
