Is this computer a good buy?

So I've been thinking of building my own computer, but a friend suggested that I purchase this computer for now, and then build it up from there.

In my opinion its a good buy, you could not build it for that price. However he is going to need a new power supply, problably a new case. Otherwise after getting those two and a good graphics card it should be good to go. Just in my previous experiences I have had alot of problems buying used goods with artifacting graphics cards and overheating due to bad ventilated cases.

It might be cheap but motherboard is rubbish, definately not worth it.
