Hi guys, had murder with a computer company called eclipse computers. I got all my components from them and my computer has currently stopped working.

originally it would not turn on at all, so i sent it to a local shop and the guys said it is propably your psu, so i send that back to eclipse and they say it workin perfectly. So i take it back to the guy in the local shop and he swaps the psu and then the computer turns on again, but it turns on and then the screen flickers, mouse flickers, keyboard flickers, and then it will shut down.

so the guy told me it probably the motherboard, so i sent that back to eclipse and they said it works perfectly again, so i said what the hell is wrong wth my computer then. They then said to send in my cpu. ram and graphics card. so i did and this morning they are saying there working fine too :|

what the hell is up with my computer ! depressing me so much

thanks

Seems like all but the motherboards been checked out? Take it out and have it checked?
I'm not qualified, but i'm thinking if you list the model #'s of the hw a qualified member could have more input.

The bloke at your local shop will be able to test all parts individually. I would get him to do that, and any which come back with a problem, explain to eclipse what you have tested.

Basically, say your motherboard came back as faulty, you would tell eclipse that you tested all components with other, known working parts, and the motherboard came back faulty.

As I mentioned in another one of your threads a while back, Eclipse have a reputation for pulling this sort of thing, saying that parts are working when they are known not to, just to get out of replaceing/refunding. I wouldn't deal with them again after you have this situation sorted, stick to Scan, Aria, Ebuyer or Overclockers.co.uk

Agreed, sounds like they are pulling a fast one on you. I'd take the comp back to your local guy, and just get him to fix/replace anything rather than deal with eclipse again. I wouldn't give any business to someone trying to pull that kind of stunt, even for warranty work.

Yeah id say theyre not too bothred with testing or replacing whatevers faulty.

In the future if stick to more reputable companies such as Ebuyer,Overclockers,Aria Pc etc.....never had a problem with them.
