Is This Computer Good?

Try going to this guys stor HERE with him you get get a barebones system

ora full system or you can pick a barebones or a full system and customize it for pretty cheap its worth looking at. Buying that computer

would be a huge mistake for that price if your going pre-built. Look at

this one from that guys store you can even customize the pre-mades its a intel core2 quad if your looking to go quad core and its not

to expensive. And you dont have to rush to win a auction with this guy if you find a build yuo like you can click build my config and you can

watch it for 29 days.

My friend baught a barebones that he customized from here.

I bought a computer from these guys before I learned to build my own (took about 20 minutes to learn how). It's a pretty good deal for a pre-built. You can't get much cheaper unless you build your own. By the way, their service was quite good.

Good luck

I dont know about shops in the states. But here in NZ most of the professional computer shops (like Newegg in US) if you give them a list of componets they will build it for you for about 60 bucks? So I would reckonmend something like that. Get the list of parts that cohen posted, and look up heaps of local specific computer stores and email them the list asking for a quote on the parts + build and install. Then just do the cheapest one.

Simple.

i totally agree with Stildawn!, if you are NOT willing to build it yourself. then pick out( ask us if u can't) the components and then call around to local shops and get parts/build/labor prices. ALSO dont forget to pick out the specific BRAND of what you want. if you only have the speeds/sizes of the part then you are leaving the QUALITY of the part up to the local shop, they might pick a lower quality part with the same ratings.

P.S. if you have a shop build it, i would ask them if you can be there for the build. that way you can see jsut how easy it really is. and maybe you will feel comfy with your next build. :D good luck man.

I agree completely with both posts.
Couldn't have said it better myself. :o

George, where are you located. I'm doing a lot less computer stuff now and mainly sticking with a few dedicated Clients on the weekends, so I'd probably have the time to build one for you and ship it out. If you're interested, post up and leave your email address and I'll get in touch with you. Figure parts cost + 10% + shipping the system out to you. Anyway, let me know if you're interested.
