Is this DDR2 Capable?

all the boars i find with 800 and sli are really expensive do you know of any cheap ones?
also i have heard some boards with sli can only use pci e 8x on each slot instead of 16x, is this one of them

I believe all boards right now, when in SLI-Mode with 2 graphic cards, only use PCI-E x8...don't quote me on it,but i've heard of that.

really, is there a large difference beteween 8x and 16x cause i want to get the best out of 1 card, becasue i cant afford 2 rite now, should i get a standard 1 pzzi e 16x

SLi-32 boards can run two slots with two cards at X16 for both. Something with a chipset like the NForce 590 SLi usually will. And most new boards do anywayz.

are you sure because this has about the same specifications and runs each slot at 8x, also can any one answer if it can run 800 mhz mem? and do you guess think its good bang for the buck

i no i was gonna go with the asus but if it only runs 2 - 8x slots than i rather just get a different card, becasue i can only afford 1 video card at this time and i want to use 1 video card at full use, i would just want sli so if i ever came across money i could add another of the same card and make it more powerful. so since i can only afford 1 card would it be best to just get a mobo supporting no slim, and maybe a faster memory speed (ie 800 mghz), instead of waiting to get 2 vid cards while rnning 1 at 8x

DDR2 667 memory, just like it says.

"800 MHz" refers to the bus speed.

These two are not the same thing!

Please, keep in mind that 99% of all Newegg.com reviews are total garbage.
Why I could laugh for hours just reading that stuff.
If you find anything funny, post it in the proper forum and we'll all have good laughs.

Some examples of people claiming "high" degree of technical understanding:

1. "AMD processor runs at 20 C" LOL !!!
2. "Hard disk says holds 300 GB but has only 270 GB available after installing the OS" LOL !!!
3. "The slim case cannot hold full-size PCI cards" LOL !!!
4. "Mini microATX case too small for my use" LOL !!!
5. "Motherboard can only use 3 GB of RAM"
(Manual says OS limits to 3GB) LOL !!!
6. "It's very very picky about which DDR2 667 will work"
(Manual has a long list of recommended memory models) LOL !!!
7. Many, many more ...
