Is this enough power to run my system

I got a new PSU and its specs are

+12V1 = 15 A
+12V2 = 17A
+5V = 35A
+3.3V = 28A
-5V =0.3A
-12V = 0.8A
+5VSB = 2.0A

Is this enough to run my system (in sig) Because it hasnt seemed to solve the problem of the computer crashing after 10 or 30 minutes of use with my old PSU.

Its a Jeantech 400 PSU from PC world.
I need to know wether to take it back because is not powerfull enough or not

Thanks

I've got one of those exact PSU as my 12v tester.

If i were you, i'd take it back, its only 400W AT PEAK LOAD. its actually only a 204w PSU as it on the side. I'd then invest in something like a 580W Hiper Unit, or even 430W Seasonic.

Run Memtest to see if it's your RAM, it's best when you let it run for a good 7 hours :P

I have an Antec EA 380 watts and it could run what you've got listed.

it 'crashes?'

Get a better PSU. will fix it, had a 450W POS Jeantech with a 7600GT XT, also expienced crashing, its the card artifacting, if its crashing in 3D Mode, although it did also happen to me a few times in demanding 2D renders.

Deffo get a new PSU, what make is it BTW, can't be any good if its from PC World :\

Do you start a game up, and as soon as you get into a 3D scene the screen freezes for about 20 seconds? or sometimes restarts the whole system?

I bet you anything its the PSU, as you say, it works fine without the card, like mine does, (also have the same mobo:P )

Problem was totally fixed when i changed PSU, I went for a 600W Arctic, (from jeantech:rolleyes: , that died at a LAN event lol, I now have a 600W Tagan, given me no problems at all, no freezes and I also use it for my new system.

Try underclocking your card for a bit, I bet the freezes become less frequent, and happen more when you overclock. Thats what happened in my case.:)

yer if you have any overclocks such as your cpu turn it down or get a new heatskink/fan that will provide better cooling.

when you get a spare sec go into your bios and check all the voltages for your cpu. i ran a search for specs of your cpu and it should be running atleast 1.30 to 1.35V minimum. if this is the case then your most likely to see it rebooting when the cpu is doing the most. playing games etc...

Bootup05 that sounds like my problem right there - as soon as i got into being able to move the player in COD 2 my computer would freeze up.

I ran memtest for 10 hours 10 minutes and got 22 pass and 0 errors, so i dont thin the memory is to blame ?

They should be more than happy to let you swap it for another PSU (if they actually HAVE any better PSU's - I dunno, I only get fans and CD's from PC World). Not sure if you can get a refund or not.

PC World sometimes stock Antec Neo's and quite often have Hiper 580w PSU's, both of wich are good PSU's.
