i just got my motherboard that i had ordered, but when i looked to see if everything was intact, i noticed that one of my SATA3 connectors was almost completely disconnected. can i fix this, or do i have to send it back?
I wouldn't mess with it. If you try to fix it and cause further damage you may not be able to return it. You paid for a good board, right? Best to bite the bullet and return it.
its an ASRock am3+ board that i just got today in the mail. i'm not sure if it is a great board, but it looked good so i got it. this is the motherboard i got.
ASRock 890FX DELUXE5 AM3+ AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
since i haven;t even opened the box, i will just send it back and get it replaced.
